- Advocate for Trails and established the County Trails Committee in 2009, and initiated the Trails Grant program in 2015
- Identified the need for improved technology at Saratoga County and established the Technology Committee in 2010
- Improved government efficiency with employee timekeeping in establishing the electronic time & attendance Syst

- Has served on all of the County’s Standing Committees and Chairman of most of them

- Has returned over $150,000 to local Not for Profit Organizations as chairman of the Saratoga Casino Hotel Foundation
- Secured over $250,000 in funding for City Open Space, including $100,000 for the Pitney Meadows Community Farm
- Supports the Saratoga County School Resource Officer program
- Chaired the City’s Open Space Advisory Committee in 2016-2017
- President of the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation in 2018-2019
- Secured $34,000 for the City's Outdoor Dining Program
